The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the PIT Football League announce exclusive partnership for 2017

Winnipeg, MB – PIT football league members will receive exclusive opportunities at Winnipeg Blue Bombers home games and other events at Investors Group Field this season.

The partnership connects the PIT football league, the largest recreational touch and flag football league in Canada, and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, who are committed to supporting and growing grassroots football organizations in Manitoba.

“The Bombers aim to support the entire thriving football community in Manitoba, including recreational touch and flag football players,” said Wade Miller, President & CEO of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. “Both the PIT Football league and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers share the love of football and it’s a natural partnership that we’re excited to launch.”

PIT Football has grown from 40 teams in its inaugural season in 2008 to more than 400 teams today. The PIT Football League has more than 4000 members and its teams play more than 1600 touch and flag football games annually in Winnipeg. The PIT football league is open to players of all skill levels including high school, adult recreation, elite national level, 40+ masters, co-ed, and women's players.

The PIT league is the largest touch football league in Canada and operates year-round offering three indoor seasons played at Winnipeg’s two premier indoor facilities and one summer outdoor season with teams playing at the finest fields across the city, including at Investors Group Field.
